The
KRCX is cold-tool steel that has outstandingly improved machinability
and hardening performance and may be hardened in the same conditions as
the SKD11 and SKS3. |
|
Features
of KRCX |
|
1.Superior hardening performance
Wide hardening temperature range from between 850`1030. May be
hardened in the same conditions as the SKD11 and SKS3.@Offers as
high hardness as 60 HRC in the hardening conditions with gas cooling
at 1030 .
2.Superior machinability@Two or more times as high machinability
as the SKS3.@Good machinability after hardening and annealing facilitates
repair machining.
3.Superior tenacity@Better tenacity than the SKS3 reduces
chipping and cracks.
4.Wide application range@Applicable to molds, parts, jigs,
tools, and other products as general-purpose cold- tool steel. |

Roughing end mill (Machining
of annealed material)
The KRCX features machinability approximately twice as high
as the steel currently in use. |

End mill (Machining
of pre-hardened material)
The KRCX also features better machinability
after hardening and annealing than the steel currently in use.
